One of my first goals (and biggest frustrations) when I started out in youth ministry was developing a good website. Unfortunately, I am not a computer genius - my teens laugh at me all the time! I think I must have slept through Computers 101. Our new eCatholicChurches.com website has simplified and streamlined many of the time-consuming tasks that a youth minister faces, such as distributing and collecting paperwork from kids, sign-ups for events, registration, and promotion. Our latest feature on our ECC website is an online store where we can now sell tickets to events and where my teens can pay their registration and trip fees with Mom's debit card. No more hounding them for checks, sweet! One of my favorite features is the mp3 player. Now my kids can listen to rockin' Catholic music while they browse our site, and anywhere else on the internet! Our new eCatholicChurches.com website is so easy to use that I feel like I actually know something about computers (which couldn't be further from the truth). It is a very complete, well thoughtout program that is custom built for Catholics. Once I started using my eCatholicChurches.com website, I quickly realized that eCatholicChurches.com is clearly a ministry, one that is very much needed in our Church right now. I pray that our Lord will continue to bless eCatholicChurches.com and their efforts to empower Catholic churches and ministries with professional, affordable, easy-to-maintain websites!
